Following the recent CQC report, what progress has been made regarding concerns raised around Ethnic minority-led GP practices experiencing poorer outcomes and experience from regulation than non-ethnic minority-led practices?

Last February, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) began to examine concerns raised by some GPs that ethnic minority-led GP practices were more likely to have a poorer experience or outcomes from regulation than non-ethnic minority-led practices.

Such issues were formally raised when the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) wrote to the CQC back in November 2020 querying the impact of inspections on ethnic minority-led GP practices.
