How have Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) been affected by lockdown?
Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) can be put in place for children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, once children have been assessed and agencies working with the child, as well as the child’s parents have contributed to the process.
Local authorities were given more flexibility in dealing with EHCPs during the coronavirus crisis, including temporary changes in law, until the end of September 2020.
