Q
Which documents, information and policies might Ofsted want to see during an inspection?
A
An inspector must access:
paediatric first aid certificates
the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) records and other documents summarising the checks on, and the vetting and employment arrangements of all staff working at the setting.
Inspectors should tell the provider the relevant documentation and information they are likely to need access to. This is set out in the inspection handbook and includes:
current staff list and staff qualifications
a register/list showing the date of birth of all children on roll and routine staffing arrangements
