As global pharmaceutical companies progress their research and development of vaccines against Covid-19, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), the Government's independent advisory body, has produced revised guidance which outlines priority groups to be vaccinated.
The updated interim guidance for Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines published on 25 September outlines an initial framework for a national Covid-19 vaccination strategy as soon as a vaccine becomes licensed for use in the UK.
