We have furloughed staff using the Job Retention Scheme. How much can we claim?
The Job Retention Scheme allows you to claim for a percentage of wage costs per month per employee, in addition to employer’s National Insurance and pension auto-enrolment contributions.
In June and July, the Government will pay 80% of wages up to a cap of £2500 as well as employer NICs and pension contributions for the hours the employee does not work. Employers will have to pay employees for the hours they work; 31 July is the last day that you can submit claims for periods ending on or before 30 June.
