What are the new plans from the Government for mental health and sexual relationships education?
The Children and Social Work Act 2017 introduces new legislation on the statutory provision of relationships and sex education in schools in England.
Three new subjects will be introduced from September 2020.

The plans for compulsory relationships, sex and health education were included in a consultation which ran from July to November 2018. This included the publication of draft regulations, statutory guidance and a regulatory impact assessment.
