We wondered if you could provide some guidance on hand-carrying military technology to Brazil. We are satisfied the item in question has an “unclassified” security grading, we have a valid F680 form and we believe we should be able to use the OGEL (Military Equipment: For Demonstration). Two of our engineers are adamant that they want to take the software to Brazil on their laptops rather than have us e-mail it to them while in the country. What steps will we have to take, particularly thinking about customs clearance, etc?
