Organisations that want to come together to demonstrate their positive impact on communities, while learning and sharing new ideas with other businesses, will welcome the chance to get involved with Responsible Business Week 2015.
Organised by Business in the Community (BITC), this year's event will take place from 20 to 26 April.
It will feature subjects ranging from sustainable urbanisation, developing future leaders and attracting diverse talent to STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) careers to energy efficiency in product innovation and responsible investment.
A one-day conference ("Innovating for a sustainable future and business success") hosted by 3M in partnership with BITC, will invite businesses of all sectors and sizes to learn from those successfully integrating sustainability and innovation.
This will take place on 22 April and will be preceded on 20 April by the Week's launch event, "The Leadership Debate", which will aim to give a better understanding of why organisations need to get employees to see how things look from an external perspective.
"This offers an effective, practical way of bringing fresh thinking to strategic questions and empowering people to act as change agents inside the business," BITC explained.
