A group of experts discuss the importance of having adequate policies and procedures covering drug and alcohol use at work, in the first of a two-part feature.

Introduction

Under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 it is an offence for any person to knowingly permit the production, supply or use of controlled substances on their premises, except in specified circumstances, for example when they have been prescribed by a doctor.
