Shipping Lithium Batteries by Air, Road, & Sea: 1 December 2023 (online)
On 1 April 2022 IATA introduced new regulations for shipping lithium batteries by air.
This Chamber International workshop offers a practical guide to the special procedures that apply when transporting lithium batteries via air, road and sea.
Those completing the course will receive a certificate which will allow them to ship lithium-ion batteries with a watt hour rating of up to 100Wh and lithium metal batteries with a lithium content of up to 2g.

Customs Declaration Service for Exports: 14 December 2023 (online)
HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is nearing the final phased launch of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS). CDS is replacing the existing Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system. Exporters have until 30 November 2023 to get ready for the change.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is nearing the final phased launch of the Customs Declaration Service (CDS). CDS is replacing the existing Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) system. Exporters have until 30 November 2023 to get ready for the change.
