HSE inspectors are currently focusing on dust management within organisations, in particular in the construction sector. Harmful dust exposure has traditionally centred around the most hazardous dusts such as asbestos and hardwood. For a long time, it has been considered part of the job, something those working in these trades expect along with the tickly cough which just does not seem to go away.
