Deloitte sets targets for women on boards

In an effort to improve the imbalance among non-executives, Deloitte has launched a programme preparing its female staff for the boardroom.

The event, Navigating the Boardroom: women on boards, will see various speakers from boardrooms – including external stakeholders, from across the City –provide insight and know-how on reaching and succeeding as a non-executive director.

Spread out over a six-month period, the aim is to assist staff who are seen as ‘almost board-ready’ with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the appropriate language and behaviour required for board level.

The number of non-executive director positions at the firm held by women is currently four.
