Dame Carol Black has been a senior policy advisor on work and health to three British governments, as well as a passionate campaigner for enabling people with health conditions to return to work. She was the driving force behind two of the most influential reports that have shaped the current agenda of health in the workplace: Working for a Healthier Tomorrow (2008) and Health at Work – An Independent Review of Sickness Absence (2011).
