The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised of an ongoing outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Bahrain. The Bahraini authorities have introduced a number of measures to limit the spread of the virus. The Bahrain authorities announced the suspension of diplomatic relations with Qatar in June 2017. All air and sea points of entry between Bahrain and Qatar are currently closed.
